Farmers is a two acre working coffee farm in Honaunau Valley. It is situated 5 minutes from the beautiful Kealakekua Bay and 45 minutes south of the airport. This property has two side-by-side bedrooms, connected with a green lawn and two cement lanai spaces. This is the perfect place for two families to travel together with space and shared areas for togetherness.
The main dwelling has a private bedroom with a king bed and the ability to close up, get dark and really quiet at night. There is an air conditioning unit for this bedroom. Attached to the master bedroom there is a brand-new, gorgeous master bath with a clawfoot tun and an outdoor waterfall shower.
This main building also has a large, screened-in living area, a small but full functional kitchen, and dining table. The “couch” in the main building is a Japanese-style queen size futon/ punee that can accommodate 1-2 more guests.
The secondary dwelling is an open-air, screened-in bedroom with a queen bed and Hawaiian-style built-in punee couch (this day bed is great to accommodate 1 adult or two kids). This building also has a modern bath house with an in-door shower, toilet, washer/dryer, and a private outdoor shower.
The two acre property is filled with coffee, tangelo, starfruit, avocado grapefruit, Tahitian lime, Meyer lemon, ulu, and noni trees. We love to share fruit with our guests, and also please know this is an active farm that is regularly cared for and harvested. The two acre farm is fenced with a private gate at the entrance.
We only share this with friends and family and love 1 week- 2 month stays. Check our calendar and then reach out to Leandra about a visit. leandramaile@gmail.com
